Municipal Housing Department deals with the Municipal accommodation to the employees of the New Delhi Municipal Council. The Municipal Housing Department follows the rules and procedures as per Govt. of India Accommodation Rules and also in-accordance with the rules passed by the Council from time to time. The eligibility for allotment of a residence of a particular type based on the Grade Pay mentioned as under:-
NDMC has launched E-Awas which is web-based system, wherein the employees can apply online and can also see the vacancy position online. Any changes that are required for allotment is also facilitated by way of applying through online. Housing Department is manned by Director (MH) with the Assistance of Jt./Dy.Director, Section Officer, Head Assistant, Sr. Assistants, Jr. Assistants and various DEOs.
For the purpose of employee grievances, S.O. (MH) / Jt. Director (MH) is designated as competent authority to monitor the grievances. He is also the nodal officer for Public Grievance Monitoring System (PGMS) under CM office. Besides this, Jt. Director (MH) is designated as PIO for the purpose of RTI and Director (MH) for Appellate Authority. The office is located at 5th Floor (room no. 5008) of Palika Kendra, New Delhi.
