Benevolent Fund:- Under this scheme the NDMC provides for the payment of Rs. 20,000/- on account of the marriage of two childrens and Rs. 40,000/- to 50,000/- the dependent in the eventuality of the death of the serving official. Financial assistance is also provided for the higher studies of sons & daughters of the employees and a sum of Rs. 3500/- to Rs. 30,000/- + Rs. 3,000 Hostel Fee per year depending uponthe course. is provided one time. In case of prolong illness for RMR workers Rs. 20,000/- paid at onetime.

A scheme of holiday Home is being run with the facilities so far provided at Nainital and Manali, Munnar, Goa, Kufri, Panchgani, Corbett, Mussoorie at a nominal of Rs. 25/- per day.

To encourage adventure sports, NDMC Scouts and Guides Rovers Crew has been formed which undertakes trekking expedition in different parts of the country.

A scheme of Janta Personnel Accidental Insurance Scheme is being run in which a sum of Rs. 1,00,000/- is being paid to the dependent of deceased employee in case of death by accident of municipal employee. In case of accident of the employee and in case of becoming partial handicap in accident an amount is also paid.

On the last day of every month a function is organised for the benefit of retiring employees, in which all the payments due to him/her is given and a momento, certificate and other gifts are also conferred.

In order to encourage the officials towards better work, a scheme of meritorious award identifying the best in the respective departments along with cash incentive is provided.

A number of facilities are also provided to Resident Welfare Assn. of its colonies meant for NDMC employees including provision of sports items, priority on booking are done in favour of NDMC employees for the booking of Barat Ghars in the NDMC area for the marriage of their own children and concession of 50% is given on the rental fee.

New Medical Health Scheme- NDMC has introduced a new medical health scheme for regular employees/retired and their dependents on the pattern of CGHS. All the NDMC employees and theire dependents can avail the medical facilities under this scheme without any upfront payment to the hospitals.
