PARKING FACILITIES

NDMC is aware of the parking problems in its area which have taken serious shape and require urgent attention. For this purpose the Council is in the process of finalising a new parking policy which would rationalize the parking system and also increase rates based on the area and the opportunity cost involved. It is also proposed to upgrade and optimize the use of the underground parking facility near Palika Bazaar in >Connaught Place. In the meantime the NDMC has taken the following steps to improve the parking system in its area.
