Citizen's Responsibilities

BUILDING PLANS

Any person who intends to construct, reconstruct, make alteration or additions should apply to the Building Plan Section of Department of Architecture & Environs, 11-12th floor, Palika Kendra, on prescribed application form which can be obtained on payment of Rs. 25/- from Facilitation Counter, 11th floor on all working days between 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M.

Computer Generated receipt in respect of completed applications are being given to the applicant, wherein period of etc. are also given. Incomplete applications i.e. which are not as per checklist available in the computer are returned to the applicant along with a computer generated statement.

All inquiries including advice on deficiencies in applications / documents will be attend across the table by NDMC Architects.	On all Working days between 12:00 Noon and 1:00 P.M.
Forms will be supplied at facilitation counter and by building clerk on 12th floor, Palika Kendra, on payment.	On all Working days between 10:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M.
Duly filled applications are being accepted through computer at Facilitation Counter, 12 Floor, Palika Kendra	On all working days between 10.00 A.M. and 1.00 P.M.
Challans for fees/other charges will be issued by Building clerk, Architect Department	Between 10.00 A.M. and 1.00 P.M. on all working days at 11 floor Palika Kendra
Payment of fees/other charges through challans will be received	At Cash Counter Palika Kendra between 9.00 A.M. and 2.00 P.M. on all working days.
Decision on application for sanction of Building Plans will be communicated	Within 60 days
Decision on revalidation of Plans will be communicated	Within 30 days
Decision on Completion Certificate/ Plans will be communicated	Within 30 days

Any interface required in respect of sanctioning of building plans could be done at the level of Chief Architect and Dy. Chief Architect-I (Building Plan Section) on all working days during visiting hours. The telephone numbers and visiting hours for Chief Architect and Dy. Chief Architect-II are as under:-

CHIEF ARECHITECT with prior appointment Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12.00 noon to 1.00 P.M. and Tuesday and Thursday from 3.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M.
